Dr. Fengfeng Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University. He is the principal investigator of the PRISM Lab. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in 2025. He has a cross-discipline background of optics (Ph.D. degree), mechanical engineering (Ph.D. degree), civil engineering (Master’s degree), and physics (Bachelor’s degree). His research focuses on optical monitoring and metrology of semiconductors, smart manufacturing, and integrated photonic systems.

Avizit Nandi
Avizit Nandi is an incoming Ph.D. student with a concentration in Micro and Nanoscale Systems. He received his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, and completed M.Sc. in Biomedical Physics and Technology at the University of Dhaka. His research interests include fiber optics, optical sensors, photonics, and optical monitoring systems.
